MIES VAN DER ROHE-HAUS AACHEN E.V.

On 13th July 2005 the association „Mies van der Rohe-Haus Aachen e.V.“ was founded and on 18th November 2005 it was registered in the register of associations of the district court Aachen.

As prescribed in the articles the association's tasks are:

• To present life and work of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and other considerable artists from Aachen permanently.

• To present and introduce considerable artists from Aachen to the local public and to visitors by exhibiting art collections.

• To contribute to art education.

The tasks are in particular accomplished by purchasing or renting and managing a house, that is appropriate for exhibitions of art collections. The association is financially assisted by associate membership, which is made by a written declaration of enrollment.

The annual membership fee amounts to 60,00 €, for students and pupils to 15,00 €, and for juristic persons to 240.00 €. The annual membership fee and donations can be transfered to the following accounts.
